SERT's warranty extends to the original owner; it is straightforward and comprehensive, and just part of the total SERT ownership experience.
First Year of Ownership: Worry Free
With limited exceptions, if your SERT product is damaged during the first twelve (12) months you own it including damage caused by wear and tear, SERT will cover all repair expenses, including shipping costs to and from our repair facility. If we determine that the product is damaged beyond repair, we will replace it. If we determine that a replacement product is not available, we will provide you with a product of comparable value. Damages not covered are damage resulting from abuse (for instance, a bullet hole through your bag), cosmetic damage (such as scratched or stained fabrics), and incidental or consequential damages, such as damage to or loss of the contents of a bag, loss of use, loss of time, or similar expenses.
Years Two through Five: You Are Covered for Defects
From the second through the fifth year you own your SERT product, SERT will repair any items that are defective in materials or workmanship (for a nominal processing fee), including any structural defects (such as defective handles, zippers, or straps). For years two through five, however, we will not cover damage resulting from wear and tear that is not the result of defects in materials or workmanship. Other damages not covered are damage resulting from abuse (for instance, that bullet hole through your bag!), cosmetic damage (such as scratched or stained fabrics) and incidental or consequential damages, such as damage to or loss of the contents of a bag, loss of use, loss of time, or similar expenses.
Your only responsibility is to ship your bag to us for repair, postage paid. In those cases where our warranty does not apply, we will promptly provide you with an estimate of any repair and return shipping costs that may be involved. .
Occasionally we will run some Specials on products that are produced on a limited basis and at discounted pricing. These products will only carry a ONE (1) year warranty.

Proof of Purchase
Please save your store receipt as proof of purchase. This will be needed to demonstrate your warranty coverage. This warranty gives you certain rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
Please note that the above warranty is ONLY for SERT products we retail on our online store and is separate from any work we do for OEM, Private Label or select end user contracts. Warranty for these is on a case by case basis.
